The event shattered all-time Pay-Per-View sales records with more than 2.15 million HBO Pay-Per-View buys, and the fight generated the largest live gate for a North American indoor sporting event with $19 million in sales. The $100 million promotion included an 11-city press tour, travel to the Super Bowl, closing bell honors at the NASDAQ stock exchange, appearances on top national television programs and thousands of newsprint and web placements.

Over the years, Swanson Communications has led the public relations efforts for several world championship promotions including and most recently De La Hoya vs Pacquiao, Calzaghe vs Jones, Hopkins vs Calzaghe and Mayweather vs Hatton.
