The new Legacy Hotel & Meeting Centre and the newest Phillips Seafood Restaurant, located in Rockville, Md., enlisted Swanson Communications to manage all public relations efforts in advance of the boutique hotel’s Grand Opening. The agency implemented an intensive grassroots public relations campaign reaching out to local media outlets, hotel trade publications, special events magazines, real estate publications and food critics.
In addition to continual media correspondence, Swanson Communications provided support for all event details pertaining to the grand-opening celebration. The agency researched and secured a live jazz band, photographer, waitresses and a lighting company for the evening of the grand opening.
