Washington Redskins Defensive End Ricky Jean Francois Retains Swanson Communications To Handle Public Relations for 2016 NFL Season

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 12, 2016) – Swanson Communications is pleased to announce that Washington Redskins defensive end Ricky Jean Francois has retained the agency, which has offices in New York City, Los Angeles and Washington, DC, to spearhead his public relations efforts for the 2016 NFL season.

“We are excited to add another successful professional athlete to our roster,” said Kelly Swanson, President of Swanson Communications. “We take great pride in our ability to help our clients build their personal brand and work with them to garner as much publicity for them as possible by telling their story and showcasing their accomplishments on and off the field.”

Born in Miami, Jean Francois played his college football at Louisiana State University and was named the Defensive MVP of the 2008 BCS National Championship game while also competing on the track and field team for the Tigers.

After being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2009, he began to see increased playing time in his second year and recorded his first sack and forced fumble during the 2010 campaign. From 2011 to 2012, Jean-Francois started five games for the 49ers and was a participant in Super Bowl XLVII.

The 2013 season saw Jean Francois move on to the Indianapolis Colts where he would start 23 games over his two seasons with the team. Before the 2015 season, Jean Francois signed a three-year deal with the Washington Redskins and he will look to help the team defend their NFC East title in 2016.

Swanson continued. “Ricky has a great personality behind that helmet. Not only is he a fantastic football player, he is smart, articulate and opinionated which always makes for a fantastic interview and sound bite. We are delighted to be working with him and can’t wait to get started.”
